Actually the bid is being soaked. What you are describing is textbook accumulation taking place like you said the orders keep showing the bid is right there ready to fall out but it doesn't because the L2 isn't properly reflecting the bids the MMS are placing probably a very large bid and they don't want anyone to know and at the same time they put a wall on the ask to allow the accumulation they are holding it in this range to load up. Think what you want, your fully entitled of course but what your are taking note of is the bid being absorbed. The same thing happens on runs and on the ask at the top heavy bid and the ask absorbing shares looks thin but hardly is. It doesn't move because the MMS are playing around. 1 post of the day because god forbid they let an actual investor talk a bit smh have a good one
